I payed the first installment of my student loan debt today. It made me feel a little icky. I'm finally at the point where I can actually save up some money and now I have another black hole to suck it all away. Is this what life is going to be like up until I die? :p Everything I make goes to rent, food, credit cards, and school loans. I haven't bought myself anything (besides a few comic books) in months! I'm not a materialistic person... but good lord almighty. I think I'm gonna be poor for the rest of my life.
Anyway. What's been happening lately?
One of the great perks about living in New York (and working where I do) is that we are always receiving free tickets to pre-screenings of movies. Last night Christina and I got to see The Golden Compass (with free popcorn and a drink, too)! The movie was really enjoyable, even if it had to rush through a lot to get through the entire book. It's definitely worth seeing in a theater.
I've just been too busy, in general. I work far too much.
So... here's a summary of the things that have been happening while I am NOT at work:
Brandon came for a visit a few weeks ago. Christina and I made a huge Thanksgiving dinner last week. We are still apartment hunting so we won't be homeless in January (with no luck so far). I'm sewing felt toys again.
Um.
I think that's it.
I know you're all jealous.
I think I want to move back to Indiana.
