Hazel and Bob

I have heard my grandfather's WWII stories since I was a little girl. Grandpa Bobby lost his right arm at the elbow, and the grand-kids asked him how he lost it on every visit- they lived on the other side of the country so it was usually yearly or twice yearly.  Over the years I've gotten more detail, collected photos, as well as copies of letters, and telegrams. One of the last things my grandfather asked me the last time I saw him in person was to make sure my children knew his stories.

I've loved reading Finding Home, which is a WWII fic. It's an amazing story, and in talking with Jennde I've thought a lot more about my grandparents and the things they lived through, before, during and after the war.

I wanted to share these pictures with Jennde and figured I'd put them here since I haven't used this for anything else.
