New Travel Blog - Cosmopolitan Visions
I just got myself a blog where I intend to post little reports of all my future travels, for both family, real life friends and online friends to read. It's called Cosmopolitan Visions and it's hosted on Wordpress.com, here: http://cosmopolitanvisions.wordpress.com/
So if you want to follow my adventures when I'm off to Tokyo, that's the place to go.
I decided on getting one place to report it all, in English and in Swedish (for those of my countrymen who aren't very good at English, mostly members of my family... ^^'), because it would be a mess to write stuff in several different places - LJ, deviantART, emails... so, yep. Wordpress it is. I will most likely password-lock the entries (one of Wordpress' little convenient extras that made me choose them), and post the password in a friends-locked entry here + send off to friends and family. We'll see if I'll be that ambitious, though. Maybe I'll feel exhibitionistic.
I'm quite proud of the name - I sat for at least an hour trying to come up with something good (the username lacamilla was taken...), finally deciding on this, which I think can represent a lot. "Cosmopolitan" represents the world. Everywhere. Cities, people, cultures. "Visions" represents, well, visions. Pictures. My retellings and memories. Photos, whatever.
Brilliant name, I think. ;D
It will be a challenge - trying not to write extremely long entries, and write stuff that both my parents, my parents' friends, my friends and my aquaintances can read. Hooo. Tough. For once I'll have to think, at least a little, about what I say. XD
