-But, seeing as though I am neither a trust fund baby- or independently wealthy, I fear its that time again--TIME TO GET A JOB....though I was trying to put it off until after new years----I did not want it to impede upon my visit to the zone---yes, you ARIZONA! I do not think that is entirely possible. le sigh. I am pretty sure I am going to be doing visual construction for the new anthropologie store in Time Square mid-december, and that- couple with the money i expect to rake in for the holidays should tide me over. - i hope. They did offer me a full time position in sales---which i suppose would not be the end of the world-though i swore upon all that is holy i would NEVER work in RETAIL HELL again....but can beggars really be choosers---especially when that beggar lives in the most expensive city in the nation? hhmmmmmmm. probably not. they did tell me however that i would probably be promoted into the visual department when a postion opens----i guess i have no choice.
hey----so if someone says to you----you should stop by such and such a bar that they work at in the east village cos they are bartending alone on sunday night....would this not imply that they are going to give you free drinks? and then you--stop by under the assumption you will be imbibing for free---or perhaps pennies. but alas- the trickery! they end up charging for every thing----very retarded. (sorry if I am offending the retards out there by likening you to a idiot bartender....but i don't have trillions of dollars allowing me to entertain bartenders on my own dollar.
but before we went to that bar----which shall remain nameless- i went with giselle to see "JESUS IS MAGIC"----that sarah silverman movie. very crass and vulgar at times----but not quite as crass as i wanted it to be----but still wonderful. the musical interludes are amazing though. i want to be her friend.
