Haven't done this in a while...

Thought it might be a good time for an update... seeing how thanksgiving is just around the corner.

First off, it sucks that I moved. I miss everyone back home and it sucks that I don't even get to see you guys during breaks. I hope everyone has a great holiday and I hope to see you all very soon.

As for me... life has been wicked busy. The weirdest part is that I'm handling it pretty well. I've taken on a lot of extra stuff from the fraternity and gotten it all done. I was even "PiKapp of the Week" which will mean nothing to most of you, but basically its just a thank you for a lot of hard work.

Me and hard work.... yeah, I don't believe it either.

Classes are going pretty well. I love my evolutionary biology class and my creative writing class. I don't go to my chemistry or calculus classes enough. I've got to start doing that. This semester is almost at a close. After Thanksgiving, there is about two weeks until finals, and then Winter Break.

I'm excited for a break, but I know its not going to be long until I go stir-crazy. I have a job, a really easy work-study job. And I'm getting a huge promotion next semester and a $3.25/hour raise. That'll be pretty badass, and its more work but also more money.

My fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, is chartering in December. It is a huuuuge deal, and I'm going to be a Founding Father. The guys in my fraternity are freaking awesome. They are people I respect and look up to. They are all motivated people who love doing fun stuff and helping people.

Although I'm not looking forward to the written test or oral examination, I'm going to put a lot of work into studying for them. I can't wait for all the secret rituals and stuff. It's going to be intense but also a lot of fun.

I'm going to be either a Mentor or an RA next year. Both get me free housing which is badass. But this year, I've actually gotten to know a lot of the freshman on the two floors below me. As weird as it is, a lot of them look up to me and actually look to me for advice. It was really, really weird at first but now I really like it. It keeps me on my toes and make me watch myself to make sure I'm not doing anything too stupid.

I still don't know what I want to do with my life, but I think I'm going to dual-major in...

Biochemistry and English.

I think this a fair balance. And I'm realizing this is a really long entry. I miss you all.
