(no subject)
So my superb, top-of-the-line, highly expensive desktop system is pretty much FUBARed right now. Strange problems too. Nothing I recognize, though I admit, I've done a bare minimum of troubleshooting at this point. *sigh* It's always something.
I picked up a copy of Need for Speed: Carbon and NHL 2k7 last night. The new NFS supports the racing wheel directly, which should make it extra fun. (especially when I bring my 360 down to my parent's place and set it up for my dad). NHL 2k7 is also a blast, though probably for a narrower audience.
Otherwise, yesterday's gift excursion was fruitless. God dammit I hate shopping at Christmas. I'm going to institute a NO PRESENT POLICY for all of the adults I know next year. I know, it sounds like I'm being a Grinch - but Christ - it's beyond insanity.
