An orgy of computer entertainment...

Like every fall, I turn into what amounts to a hermit.  A video game hermit.  It's not my fault - it's just that all the really great games come out in Q4 and I just get the urge to play them all.

BF2142 continues to thrill and challenge me.  I am of the opinion that it is a superior game to BF2 in both mechanic and in actual game experience.  I have had a few problems with the rank-up system, but I guess it's too much to expect a DICE game that runs without at least one major bug.

I've started playing Druss, my Dwarf Hunter on Lothar again.  I've managed to level him up to 38 in the past week - an accomplishment to say the least.  Soon he'll be eligible for a mount (though he's totally broke).  I even pulled a new player into the fold with a 14 day free trial disk that I had lying around.  Anyone else interested?  I have 5 more here in my desk.  I'll even ship it to you at my cost!  Of course, anyone who pays attention to the video-game scene realizes that the first expansion is due for WoW sometime in November (or so we're told) and that is undoubtedly going to re-invigorate many old players as well as draw new players into the fold.

This week will see the release of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for the 360.
