Ergo Proxy and a big 21 incher
I took in the first episode of "Ergo Proxy" (wikipedia) last night. It's got a great visual style and a compelling story. I believe there are a total of 17 episodes in the series. It's a bit moody and a tad bloody, and there are plenty of allusions to various philosophies of mind and self, as is often the case with these android-drama type stories.
Perhaps more importantly, however, was the fact that I watched the episode on this. Great monitor at a very reasonable price. Battlefield 2 looks especially good on it. And it's got a variety of inputs which means that it'll do in a pinch for X-Box 360 or DVD playback. Plus, it tilts and rotates which is just absolutely beautiful.
