(no subject)
In a surprise announcement, my office-move was shifted from August to TODAY. I found this out as I arrived at work this morning. I am now technically "in" and just have a fuckload of organizing to do - as well as about a day's worth of other systems to move and set up. All of this, of course, needs to be done before Monday.
Work + Saturday = fuck
Because I feel some strange reason to balance this entry out, here's some good news:
- It's Friday.
- I played my first online match of Table Tennis last night and was ecstatic when I smoked some random noob.
- My new office is so remote from anywhere that is occupied by other human beings that I can play my music as loud as I want. And run around with no pants on if I see fit.
- I'm leaving in 10 minutes.
- I've found new love for Battlefield 2 since I started running the 7950 card and the Athlon 64 4200. I believe that my previous system - despite being quite a bit more powerful than the "minimum requirements", was far too underpowered to run the game decently. I believe my lack of resolution, frame rate, and antialiasing was actually holding me back.
- Perhaps the best news all day: This entry is now finished.
