It's been a crazy week at work. Someone opened the flood gate that was holding back all the crisis events. Now they're pouring down on me all at once. Still, nothing I can't handle and not enough to even remotely make me dislike my job. But it's still been a crazy week.
Yesterday we played Descent again and failed to finish the scenario again. Getting started at 8 pm is the real cause of the problem. As a result of the late start, we didn't get finished until 11 and I didn't get home until around midnight. Suffice to say, I was late coming in this morning.
Tonight is a big night for the Sifton-Annable Covenant. We'll be entering into ultra-long-term-money-making-mode. Now that we have a dual income again, it's really time to start catching up on our investments. Fortunately, we have a talented financial adviser.
Perhaps noteworthy. I ordered myself a copy of
this set. Anyone who knows me at all probably already knows that I'm a huge Robotech fan. And, in fact, I already own the entire Robotech DVD set. However, this remastered set was too good to pass up for a few reasons. A. Hello, they've been remastered and some new footage has been edited in. B. When I started buying the original DVD set, I didn't realize that they were being released in incremental boxed sets that each came with a special features DVD. I missed the first two boxes and it's always sorta bugged me. So, this way, I'll have the whole set in one nifty and convenient box with all of the extras and, on top of it, they'll be remastered versions presented in 5.1 sterio. I may end up selling my original boxed set, so if anyone is interested, let me know.
My goal for this evening: play some DoA4 and get to bed early.
