Okay. After a day off, I'm back to work. A sick day in my first full week of work! That has to be the lamest crap I've ever heard. I'm not entirely happy with myself which is probably why I'm back today despite how I feel. Now, I do feel a hell of a lot better than I did yesterday or Wednesday afternoon, but I've still got the shakes and swing rapidly between too hot and too freezing. So I've layered my clothes heavily (fortunately, Friday's are 'dress down' days) so that I can adjust as the days goes on.
The wife and I watched
Mr. & Mrs. Smith last night. It's movies like this that justify internet piracy. Even the unbelievably, eye-gougingly, mind-blowingly supreme hotness of Angelina Jolie wasn't enough to make this movie worth watching. The dialogue was forced, the editing was poor, the story bordered on retarded, and the special effects were just sorta meh. Skip this. Seriously. Go watch Hackers if you're jonesing for a Angelina fix (not because it remotely resembles a good movie, but only because you get to see her tits).
I haven't a clue what my weekend is supposed to consist of, but I'm hoping it isn't much. Realistically, I think we should finish our X-Mas shopping, but even the though of roaming the malls and stores in a protracted effort to find the "the right gift" that manages to say "I spent just enough money on you to tell you I love you but not so much as to make other people feel slighted and to embarras you." Ahh Christmas. The spirit of giving flows through me like napalm through the jungle.
Alright. Time to get busy. Here's hoping I don't puke.
