The madness that is my PC gaming hobby:
MMORPGs: Guild Wars has been uninstalled. The honeymoon period for that game was rather short, and not nearly as rewarding as WoW. Back on the hard drive is City of Heroes and (when the download finishes in 45 minutes) the City of Villains Beta. Of course, there is the Auto Assault Beta which is ongoing. And, to top things off, I've started getting the WoW itch again, especially after having seen some sneak peeks of the forthcoming expansion on the Gamespot forums.
Shooters: Battlefield 2 continues to thrill, and now Quake 4 and F.E.A.R. have been released. I'm not in a big rush to play those two, though. BF2 is giving me what I need in this department.
RTSs: Dawn of War: Winter Assault remains installed on my system. Not only is it a good game to pickup and play for a few minutes when I've got some time to waste, but it's also easy and fun to play online against someone. Black & White 2 went by the wayside. Just not my thing. And next week is Civ 4 which could be a big time sink.
Action/Adventure: The new X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse sits on my hard drive, waiting to be installed. I had been thinking that I'd wait to play it on the PSP when it comes out (sometime soon), but I'm not so sure now.
