Eclipse...possible spoilers
Decided to go to the afternoon showing of Eclipse, beat some of the crowd, I always feel a bit claustrophobic when the theater is packed to the brim. Loved the Harry Potter preview, makes me want to go back and read the books for about the fourth or fifth time. I didn't know or else had completely forgotten there was to be another Narnia film. Cool.
Edward...yes, I'm still for Edward. Somebody said his eyebrows were scary but I think they're part of what makes his face special. And he actually smiled more in this movie and he looked stronger and I kept thinking yeah, I'd snuggle on his cold, hard chest anytime. Thumbs up for Edward!
Bella...well...well, she looked better in this one. Her hair looked better, not quite so limp. Too many closeups of the rabbit teeth though. Really this girl could be absolutely beautiful but what she wears does nothing for her and I hate her mannerisms. I'm also fighting an intense dislike for her treatment of Edward, she was panting a little too much when the wolf came around. And the scene where Jacob had to keep her warm? Did nobody think of blankets, thermal underwear, thick socks, gloves, hats...I mean, they ARE in the northwest U.S., right?
Jacob...I try to like him, I really do. I almost did in the previous films but this one has really turned me off of him. Every time he was shown I kept thinking yeah, I bet he DOES stink like an old dog, look at all that sweat, does he ever bathe? If he could have just done his scenes without the smirk. I need to see this boy in another movie so I can see if he's just being how he thinks Jacob is or if he's really like this. I'm sorry if you are a Jacob fan and reading this...I'm really, really trying to make myself like him.
Cullens...love all of them! I'm glad they gave Jasper and Rosalie a bit more time in this one, really liked their characters and glad to see Jasper wasn't quite as uptight as before. Wish there was a way to see or read more about the background of all the Cullens.
Victoria...not bad. The fighting/running scenes were great and she had that wild look to her eyes.
Riley...the new guy, he wasn't bad.
Bella's parents...love Charlie, don't like Renee.
Good movie, want to see it again. Can't believe it's almost a year and a half until the next one.
