(no subject)
here I am in my dorm room again, about to indulge in a good 4 maybe 5 hours of studying for one damn subject. The prof expects a lot when it comes to his tests he says, we need to have four chapters of terms memorized, were talking upwards of 60 to 70 words, its a good thing im not treating this like highschool. If I were to have treated this like highschool i would have just been starting studying tonight, but im a goodstudent and started a while ago, were talking like two days ago. hahaha.
Im starting to get used to mankato however Im still wishing that i was living in the cities. I have met one really cool kid out here, his name is aj and our music tastes are extremely similar, only difference is he knows more about music then anyone I have ever met. When I say this im dead serious to. He has already introduced me to some new bands that im already really feelin. Another good thing is he is a snowboarder so I have someone to go with this year, and he is really good, he is flowed by dragon and competes in nationals every year. Its awesome.
I was sitting and thinking the other night and I finally realized that what im feeling isn't really me missing minneapolis so much but its more the fact that I feel like I really don't have a home anymore. I don 't feel at home when I'm at my parents house and the dorms in Mankato definatly don't feel like home. So I think its the feeling of insecurity that is making me irritable. I have found myself becoming really anti-social as of late as well, I just don't feel like I have much in common with many of these kids out here. Oh well, its all going to work out.
On another note dan jimmy and dustin came out to visit last weekend, that was really fun getting to show off the campus up here, even though i feel like we didn't do a very good job, we didn't even make it to any rockin parties because we kept getting started to late so we missed out on all the good parties, so im kind of afraid that they really didn't have a good time. Well what can ya do.
Oh yeah Im getting a free tattoo by the apprentice at the local tattoo shop too, this should be interesting. Hahaha, no worries though its just a small black something covering up one of my home made ones. Monday at 630 is my appointment and we shall see how it goes.
