just 8 days after va tech...
and my school has a bomb scare. not to mention, it's the second bomb threat within about two months of each other. i was psyching myself out because when we first evacuated, there was one of those news helicopters circling above us. so, i thought it was serious. :( the first threat came in as a phone call. but this time was different. basically, i heard that someone had written (or maybe typed) a letter attached to boxes saying something to the effect of "there's a bomb on campus. find it." the boxes were empty so they sounded the alarms. after about two hours of sitting in the furthest parking lot from the school entrance/exit, we returned to our normal activities.
i thought it was pretty scary considering what happened last week at virginia tech; especially, when i saw the helicopter. then, on top of that, there was a fire in my chem lab today. thank goodness it was before we got in there and there wasn't another class in there. it probably was just from the mix of things/chemicals or whatever from gen. chem AND o. chem. i think amanda said some gen chem student must've disposed of potassium hydroxide pellets in the trash can and then the fire just started. pretty crazy for a tuesday.
and omg.. 10 SCHOOL DAYS LEFT!!!!!!
