(no subject)
Well yesterday was Claire's debut (debut = Filipino tradition for when a girl turns 18) I thought I was gonna sit with people that I didn't know at all but I ended up sitting at the second table of MSMC people. The whole "Peck Peck Family" were seated together in one table. (Even though there seems to be some tension with Melissa and the rest of the girls.) It was weird though. They placed me sitting in between Faith and her boyfriend, Lester. So I switched to sit next to Temple. Then Nadia was M.I.A. as Temple and I were frantically trying to figure out if she still needed a ride to the hotel. Turned out she was in the shower when we were trying to get a hold of her on her cell. She ended up not coming because her mom wouldn't want to give her and her sister a ride to Torrance straight from work or whereever she was coming from. Once I found this out, I called her and I have decided that I am going to kick her ass come Monday. The night was pretty long. Once everyone got seated, it was probably like 7pm already. I sat with Temple, Rebecca, Rebecca's boyfriend, Nicolle, and her guest, Stephanie. It was pretty interesting. I talked to Nicolle for the first time since Orientation in July. Then a story that I heard that happened sometime 2 weeks ago or so from Patricia came our into the conversation and I just found out who it was. There was a girl that got caught with Smirinoff in her dorm. And it's crazy, she got 4 YEARS probation. I don't think I should be talking about this but whatevs. Then we finally started; Claire made her entrance, we ate, saw their dances they put together, saw a movie that was put together by her court, saw her dance with her 18 roses, then we did the candle presentations (Lindsay, Nicole and I were some of her 18 candles). I went first out of the three of us. I was nerrrrrrvous..I even forgot to say Happy Birthday to her while I had the mic. So I just loudly whispered in her ear when I went to give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Hahahaha. Classic me. But anyways, by the time that we were done with all the presentations and stuff, it was probably 10 something when we started actually dancing. Temple and I did the electric slide. Hahahaha. The music later was weird. I kept saying that I wasn't feeling the music. But I still danced. Temple was having too much fun last night. She was so pretty in her white halter dress. Everyone was pretty last night..of course, ESPECIALLY, Claire & her THREE dresses. I wish I could've brought someone. Lindsay brought Mike..who is very funny and sweet. And of course, Melissa brought Andrew. Rebecca brought her boyfriend, whose name escapes me. And Marie brought her older sister, Sarah. It was overall, funnn. By the time I got home I felt so icky and sweaty. Hahahaha. Awww I kinda wish I had one now. It was so pretty and cute. Everyone in her court seemed really sweet and nice and fun. Man, if I had one my dad would be surprised to see who one of my Roses would have been. I think I would save him for the last one..yup, save the best for last. :]
