...A Week in Illinois...
Dec. 21:
---Airport. Lil cousins Miles & Betsy came with us... their parents too. My dad really needs to learn how to put his video camera through security. Everytime it goes off, and everytime they ask him if theres a video camera in there, and everytime he says yes, but "let me get 'bla bla' out so it doesnt get crushed, because i have other things in there too." And everytime the lady is PMSing, and looks at him like will you please shut up and let me do my job, and everytime (just to piss my dad off) they call for a thorough bag check which takes forever. He doesnt understand! GOD ITS SO ANNOYING!
--- Plane ride into St. Louis. Then two hour drive to Springfield. Stopped at Steak n' Shake. YUM! BEST FOOD EVER! but fuck them cause they got rid of my favorite drink... the Lime freeze.... ::tear:: Grandma's house for an hour, then the hotel.
Dec. 22-27:
---Ok so, in Illinois, theres NOTHING to do. They must all be dirty tramps, because i couldn't think of anything else to do! I asked my cousins who live there what they usually do. "Go to school." when your on break?! "Watch TV, go to movies..... sleep" WHAT?! they couldnt give me anything else except hang out with friends, and it doesnt seem like any of them have friends! GRRR. So here is all i did while i was there:
---Saw "Phantom of the Opera." Watched ELF twice, Day After Tomorrow twice, Old School twice, Christmas vacation twice, a Christmas Story 4 times (one channel had a 24-hour marathon, and there is nothing else to do!). O yeah, and the stupid Little Bear movie 5 times with my lil cousin, and i never got to see the end, because my uncle steve forgot to record the whole thing. Entertained Miles. (Betsy was being stupid and wouldnt let anyone but her mom hold her (the ENTIRE TIME!). Played ping pong, but it sucked cause i wasnt that good, and ryan just rubbed it in my face. Ate. Showered. Went swimming in the hotel pool once, because it was never open when i was there. Went to my great uncle chick's house for XMas ever like always. When we were little, we went horse-back riding and then swimming in his HUGE indoor swimming pool, but now... we dont get to do either of them. We just sit around in a different house than we usually do. Then we go back to Grandma's and have XMas eve dinner. I didnt get any, cause i was upstairs playing with Miles who wouldnt let me go, and no one came up to tell me it was dinner time.
---Our hotel gave us 1 hour of free long distance every night, so basically i called A LOT of people. and luckily a lot of people called me too. So i think i talked to Samm, MK, Heather, Courtney Cox, Kim, Amelia, Celeste... more people i know, Talked to josh quite a bit. so basically that was the best part of my day, coming back to the hotel and chatting with my friends. I LOVE YOU GUYS!
---Woke up on Christmas in a hotel, just to get dressed and drive to Grandmas. that really sucks. i miss waking up and running downstairs with all of my cousins to see all the presents under the tree. I havent done that since i was 10... o well... cant have everything... I got Pjama pants that are too small, and a candle. The Aunt that got me is REALLY bad at picking presents. O well again. Went and saw my Grandpa and its so sad looking at this man that you can tell used to be so strong and everyone looked to him for advice and guidance, but now he needs oxygen and tubes and i just wish i didnt have to see him like that. I love going to see him, but i hate it at the same time. I cant wait to get there, but cant wait to leave... o well.... once more...
---there was Sunday, then Monday when we flew to LA and then had to take a small propeller plane in the rain to San Diego. My greatest fear.... propeller planes, and guess where i got to sit! In the window seat that had no window because it was right next to the fucking propeller! YAY! Took a taxi home after waiting a long time for one. No Burgie to come home to. That was sad. but got to open our presents. I got and iPod and iPod stereo system. I named him iCabod. Ryan got a PA system. Its beautiful.
---busy loading all of my songs (which amounted to 1.1 days long) until 4am. Went to sleep! YAY!
