MARCH:
TUES, 1st:
---Orange Cast. First show. Student Mat.
WED, 2nd:
---Blue Cast. My cast's first show. Student Mat. We rocked, and had a bigger and better crowd than Orange had on Tuesday... but theyll get thie audience.
THURS, 3rd:
---Orange Cast. First official night show. I went with Rachel and Brett, it was good.
FRI, 4th:
---Blue Cast. The biggest night. Willie presold 45, and Ashley 42. I had pre-sold 41 tickets, and more were coming to see me. It was packed and the audience was excellent, but I was so sick. During thr last 2 hours of school that day, I had just laid down on my desk, and i wasnt feeling any better by the show. I could sing just fine, but my head was so fucked that it was really hard to hear myself AND the music AND the other singers at the same time. But i think i pulled it off.
---After the show, we got a standing ovation. It was so awesome. Out in the Foyer, person after person came up to me and/or gave me flowers, and I wasnt even a lead! I cant even imagine the bouquets Ashley must have at her house now...
---Went to Wille's afterwards with Rachel and Cox. It was splendid, but i was really tired.
SAT, 5th:
---Had to wake up early for another show @ noon w/a call time of 10, but i was worse than last night. i was SO sick, i just wanted to collapse. Then when i got to the school, mr allen asked for my tickets, but my mom had already turned them into the financial office, and when i told him that, i was still kinda dead and started to walk away. then he got all pissed and told me to come here and freaked out on me. I almost cried, cause i couldnt even process what was going on, and when i finally did he wouldnt let me explain, and treated me like i was his worst student. What a bitch. It basically pissed me off for the rest of the day.
---Our performance as a whole was a catastrophe. Absolutely terrible, i think. The people who came to see me thought it was great, but i really think it was the worst show we had put on yet. Everything went wrong, and the audience SUCKED. Oh and of course my dad had to tape this one and not fridays...
---Went home to play with my little cousins and some other little kids who saw the show. Im just sitting there, entertaining them when Esther walks in, completely uninvited and sits down. Um, i was basically thinking "get the FUCK out of my house!", but i was too sick and tired and occupied to bother. I dont think she understands that she doesnt need to make herself a part of every aspect in my life. GET THE FUCK OUT OF IT! I dont need two-faced, backstabbing bitches to study and criticize my every move!!!
SUN, 6th:
---Last show, closing night... The audience was a good size, but nowhere near Friday's, but their enthusiasm didnt show that! The show was so good! Jessica gave me flowers, Samm made me a purse with little goodies, and I finally found out who my secret pal was: WILL! I knew it the whole time... it was either Will or Willie. MY PRESENTS WERE SWELL!! Then I gave Ashley her last gift and she found out that i had her! and i love her!
---then the cast party... little did i know that everyone was dressing up. BUT! Gorgeous Ahasly Schwartz let me borrow her black Audrey dress, her furry pink shoulder thing, and these awesome pink snakeskin heels! I must say that i looked so good, especially for it being thrown together.
---yummy food (MEXICAN and CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES!).
---awards directed by Sam Cruiz, Ashley S, and Katie. I got "Breakthrough Actor" award. In my speech i was all "I may have began as a little white girl, but i definately got blacker. I mean i went from Esther to Usher!" haha... go me... Jessica got best dancer in our cast, and there was a comment on her big ass. HA! it was great... more awards... then sad speeches.... like ASHLEY! who even made a tear roll down MY cheek. it was sad.
---then a short silent movie with music playing in the background of people going around backstage and during practices with the Drama Cam. 20 minutes long, and 5 songs ending with "Time After Time." It was so good.
---then home to hang out with my ex-neighbors. they saw the play that day, and Gina (whos like 30) had me teach her some Little Shop dances.
