so, today i spent a lot of money. mainly on a room in london for myself and my smaller sister, so, from next friday to next sunday, i'll be there. Any suggestions as to 'what to do' that doesn't involve spending all of my monies will be appreciated.
Before that though,
d, i believe i am looking in your direction for this one...

Sorry I have not replied before .. I have not been around for a while.
I sort of agree with the comments ... most of the meseums are well worth checking out in London and quite a lot of them still have free entry.
Covent Garden is always worth having a wander round there is generally quite a bit going on there. Someone was posting about visiting the Damian Hurst exhibition which seems to be currently on in London, if you are interested let me know and I will check out the details on that that. Also over Christmas there was an "alternative art" exhibition (Banksy and similar) in a old Clarks shoe shop in Oxford Street (I still want to try and track this one down) ... I will see if I can find out more on that one.
It is probably quite expensive now but Madame Teussards is prolly one of the best attractions in Lonon, there is a lot to do and see there ... oh and I have heard good things about the London Aquarium so that may be worth checking out.
Whatever happens have a wonderful time .. and let me know if you want me to check anything out down here....
PS Just out of curiosity how are you getting to London, Plane..Train..???

Seems that Mr Hursts exhibition is still on but one he is the curator of as opposed to any of his work, still the reports on it seem to be favourable .. here are some details about it does seem worth a visit if you have the time.
I am still trying to see if the Banksy gallery is still open here is an article about it but it does not seem to give any dates.
I will let you know if I find out anything more on this one.
*Smiles* I used to fly to Edinburgh pretty much every other week, I really would have liked to take the train but time simply did not allow, if it's any consulation, the chances are that you will fly over my house as you come into Heathrow!!!
