concert: was amazing because i love flogging molly... but going to concerts by yourself is suck.
very proud of myself, this past weekend, parents were out of town, and i actually obeyed them, so my only "massive party" was joel, loren, & i playing DDR and watching a bunch of movies... i know, we're wild & crazy kids...
but bowling is really fun, especially since i'm kinda good at it.
hey, everyone who's cool: bowling at the Stick on mondays, $5 an hour per lane, and they play fucking sweet music. we go at like 10 or 11ish.
school: eh, decent. finally went to speech for the first time in 2 weeks, cuz i have to speak on thurs, but what's sweet is that my teacher is a slacker like me, so she's been absent too, and our speeches aren't until next tues. sweet. but i could've slept in today, or fixed my car, and now i'm stuck at school updating LJ.
finally got an oil change, like 870 miles over... oops. yea, so some valve gasket thingy is broke, which is why my engine is always smoking, because oil is "spewing out all over the engine" quoting 'the guy.' he was like, "it'll be 120 to fix it today" i'm like no thanks, my dad can fix it. he's like "ok, but if you end up bringing it back tomorrow, it'll be 90." ... um, was that supposed to be a threat to get me to get it done today, cuz it sounded like a better deal.. eh, from now on, whenever i need work done, i'll just be like, oh, well maybe i'll bring it back tomorrow, cuz apparently they discount 2nd day services??? the whole situation was retarded.
next weekend parents are out of town again... hopefully i can talk them into letting me have a small gathering, since lately my 'parties' have been not good.
