section leader tryouts today. i'm nervous. what if katie beats me? i mean, she's got a one up over me because her dad is the band teacher. but shes a grade younger so it SHOULD be seniority. whatever, all i know is that i'll be pissed if she beats me. i mean, nothing against her cuz she's a really sweet girl, but she's only a freshman. seriously. she should just wait for next year, since i'm trying for drum major. then the next year she can try out like i know she'll want to, and the band will be horn-less. :-)
ok so yeah and i dont want to conduct. i'm not trying for drum major. eh, oh well. its phantom of the opera (overture on the cd) so it should be okay.
