wow today was crazy
well todays was yet another day i have to thanl God for being alive....today was crazy and there was alot going on......so everything started ok i woke up feeling a little tired but still ok.....we went out on our mission and we never got the chance to even start what we went out to do.....it all started going down the road and turning around the same way we came.......another unit had the road blocked because of a possible ied down the road....so i was up in my gunners hatch pullng security.......and then all i know is there was an explosion right next to my truck and my head was ringing.........then all i remember is turning my turret around and opening fire at the bridge about 300 meters away from me and firing at 2 figures standing on the bridge then we got back to bussiness and went after those bastards and all they did was run.....and down in my heart i knew that ws then and i knew i should have shot to kill when i was firing at the bride insted of warning shots......by the time we got to the bridge they were gone speeding off in a car so they were gone and we were questioning others around and my right wrist was begining to hurt......all i though was ohhhh no i am hit and i did want to look but i had to.....i took a cut on my right wrist from shrapnel........and i told my Lt. that i was hit.......then we were heading back and another ied went off on another unit and they had casualitys they had a medivac on the way so we assisted and then we came back to camp......then i went to the doc and got checked out...so now i am going to get another purple heart for being wonded in combat...i am still the only one in my section to get one now i am on my second on if i get another without losing my life thay have to sendme back to the states and i will never be able to be deplyoed again.........but anyway i will be ok just so you all know
