yay internship!
i finally got to start internship the day before yesterday! I've been fruitfully spending these two days printing, cutting and pasting on stickers and project sheets. Today I have to work at home (on my own) in illustrator to make some adjustments on her business card without the original .ai file. tough nuts for someone who, OH YEAH TOTALLY DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT MAKING PRINT-READY PRODUCTS.
what's really great is how I have an internship working as a freelancer, if you will, without any support or whatever since she doesn't have any technical knowledge about print or multimedia. way to go school! you managed to take me away from the place that I wanted to work because you thought I wouldn't learn anything, and instead put me in a place where I'll learn even less, even in a whole different discipline!
What concerns me the most is the fact that I'm already one month behind on internship waiting for phone calls from school and waiting inbetween job interviews so yeah, way to go.
