The Apirates in The Bananarammer
A pirate crew consisting of the Deaf Captain Redbutt, the Blind Cannoneer Ballseye and the Mute Navigator..well, no-one really knows his name so they call him Bob. The ship's wise-cracking figurehead is Zelda the Cynical Mermaid, whom is the secret object of affection of Bob.
Hanna Barbera, always been a BIG influence on my work. For better or for worse, though, as I never liked em when I was young thus intentionally steering clear of what they did. See? Influence.
It was until a short time ago that I realised that Hanna Barbera is actually pretty facking cool. So then I had the freakin luck to get a wacky races themed battle! See above for the entry I made. (before you ask, the result isn't in yet, I'm competing against a disgruntled hockey player and it's EXTREMELY close)
Let's remember Joseph Barbera and Iawo Takamoto while we're at it. Both of these Icons of animation passed away shortly ago. Let's hope among us are ambitious animators who will take up upon their legacy and rid future generations of mindless wannabe anime 3d shows and instead provide them with new, innovative man-made cartoons.
