Twenty Years Later (Updated to part 16i)
A modern AU in which they are older, maybe 35 or 40. Arthur and Merlin had been close as teenagers, and fell into a sexual relationship which meant more to Merlin at the time than Arthur, who was conflicted. Now Arthur is divorced and Merlin has also just ended a relationship. They come back into each others' lives need to come to terms with their pasts. Also A/Other, M/Other.
Act The Way You Feel (Updated to part 14b)
Arthur is a distinguished business man in his forties who starts to date a college aged Merlin. Cue Gwen, Lancelot, and Morgana being concerned about Arthur and his "midlife crisis" and lots of sexy time with with young, eager, flexible Merlin.
We'll Run Like We're Awesome Totally Genius (Updated to part 17b)
Where Merlin is the one getting all the girls/boys and the attention, and Arthur is the one understimating his beauty and charm.
Wild Enchantments (Updated to part 18)
Merlin is a slightly feral, magical creature that Uther has gotten his knights to capture as an 'experiment'. Arthur doesn't agree and helps Merlin as he tries to get him to escape.

When Arthur was little he was told his soulmate was a boy named Emrys, when he grew older he started looking for him but could not find him. Merlin loves Arthur but Arthur rejected him because he won’t be unfaithful to Emrys.
