getting slightly stuck

Today I feel like I'm getting slightly stuck. I have called a couple more apartment offers, and made some appointments for viewing, except it doesn't sound too good even when hearing it on the phone. No conditioners. No laundry. No basic furniture. Seven hundred security deposits plus three broker fees, or similar. I have the perfect set up in mind. The office table. The laptop standing in the port replicator, with plugged in little numpad keyboard, second WSXGA+ monitor, a mouse, and a small laser printer. The laptop should have the FreeBSD running on GNOME KDE (coz after all, i'm not suicidal), all the open source software, and of course vmware running Windows inside, simply for the sake of using NewsLeecher. It's all so nice in my mind, I just don't have anywhere to put the office table. More importantly, I don't think I have anywhere to move at this point. What the hell, people, what the hell. Seems like the basement is off for me.

But this is nothing without an office table in a quiet place.
