There are large men walking around the office groaning, “AAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWGH” like ponderous, landlocked whales.
Nothing at all exciting is happening in my life right now. I could talk about some small things, but they don’t count. We went to Quebec City (though I think I already wrote about it) the weekend before last, and it was beautiful and extravagant and wonderful. Last weekend we went to Niagara Falls, and laughed when we became soaked in the middle of the falls.
This weekend, it’s off to the cottage, on an island a little ways from Val d’Or, that once housed a mine. I want to sleep and bake in the sun during the day, and curl up in a warm blanket at night. There will be a dog, a lake, a firepit and trees.
I am bored and don’t want to make a schedule for myself for the next five months of work. At least I will make it in pretty rainbow colours depending on importance, since I’m the only one who’ll see it.
