i actually did it
with a combination of better organization and some purging, i emptied one of those boxes. honestly, i could prolly empty at least half of another very easily, if not a whole one, but right now i can't bring myself to part with that much stuff. this feels good, though, so i'm not gonna knock it. i'll never quite be spartan, but i'm glad i'm less of a packrat than i used to be.
Patti's friend Ashley is getting married (on a very tight budget) sometime in the near future, and i told Patti that my gift to Ashley would be to help with the wedding favors, including providing use of my own supplies. i adore Ashley and would love to help however i can, plus it'll help me pare down some of my stuff, so everyone wins. i have tons of craft supplies that i don't necessarily see myself using, at least not soon, but at the same time, they're still useful, so i don't want to just get rid of them (even if it is to donate them to where they can be of use to someone). so to make use of them myself while still getting rid of them makes me happy lol.
ok... sleepy. not looking forward to tomorrow because bosslady comes back from vacation. we've been absolutely swamped; even though the chart volume has slowed down, we've still had tons of people coming in and asking for bulk numbers of charts. and that's just my work. every single person in that office is behind because everything came to us at once during the week that bosslady was away, so she's just gonna think we slacked off because she wasn't there to see it as it came in *sigh*
