(no subject)
i just tore through the last 40 or so pages of HBP. i mean, i knew about Dumbledore dying, but i had no clue about Snape's involvement or anything. and then Tonks and Lupin... and then Harry and Ginny finally getting together only for him to pull that noble crap at the end and break up with her to protect her. gah! motherfucking gah! next book now, please!
see... i try not to read much into foreshadowing and whatnot, that way i can actually *enjoy* the surprises when they happen. i'm sure this also means i'm missing out on a lot of subtlety, but i usually don't care lol. worst part, though, is that Kimpy and i had a talk about this very thing, and she said that there was something i was going to wish i'd kept in mind from the part talking about some of the things at the Black house that were found while cleaning up. was there a locket? don't tell me. ok, do tell me, because as much as i want to reread OotP, i don't have it anymore. fuck. must buy own copies.
i never wanted this to happen. i had actively avoided Potheadery for so long. i didn't see how people could get so wrapped up in a children's book. i frankly thought the whole thing was stupid and rolled my eyes at everyone i knew who was into it. and now this. i don't know what to do with myself now.
