(no subject)
Today's the day I leave for China. I'm not all that excited, cause I don't like going on planes. Ah well, I hear it's going to be nice and hot. :þ Well, not much happened the past two days or so.
Yesterday I did go to a local glasses store place. I got new glasses lenses. They're kinda awkward. Everything seems sorta rounded in them, but I'm used to it. These new lenses are supposed to block out UV rays or something. I just know I can see things behind me out of the side of my lens.
I also went to eat at this "western" buffet. There was raw fish and squid. I guess it was okay. They did have a lot of ice cream, pies, and fruit. They ran out of cheescake though.:( I had salad, some meat, two bowls of soup (it was good, but I don't know what it is.) Then I had two scoops of Chocolate and Cookies and Cream. That was good. I also had watermelon, kiwi, canteloupe, honeydew, and an orange. We were meeting with some of my mom's classmates. One of them had a daughter that's going to be an exchange student to Indiana. I don't think her english is all that great, so it's going to be pretty hard being a Junior there. Ah well.
Well, I woke up at around 5 in the morning and I couldn't fall asleep again. Just as well. I was having the weirdest dream. It all had Chinese TV Stars and stuff. Two got married and they were having a contest or something. It was odd. At 8, my brother recorded Powerpuff Girls in Chinese. Their voices are rather odd, but it was still quite amusing. Although a word joke didn't work out all that well. I still have to get Dexter's Lab on tape for you Matt, but if you want, you can see the episodes my brother recorded. It also has the opening song, which is in Chinese and has Chinese subtitles.
Anyways, that's it. I think I'll go finish packing for China. I'll post again in two weeks. Althoguh after I get back, I'll be going to Taipei on the 19th, but I'll be in Kaoshiung for six days...not that any of you care...
