Saying good-bye to Andy
I'm getting really good at knowing when someone is about to die - just now it was little Andy rat. He's been fading these last few weeks and somehow, this morning, I could tell he wouldn't be with us tomorrow. We had a cuddle listening to JM read Storm Front (parts 2 and 3)and just before end of disc 3 he went.
It's heart-wracking but I feel better for having been holding him for his last few hours and not just finding him stretched out cold and dead. I hope it helped him - he was actively snuggling me so perhaps it did.
