Hoping against hope
A very bad night. Deefa panting and choking - nodes very swollen. Damn, I was so pleased on Monday to be able to say that she'd had no trouble with this since that first night that I didn't think to ask what I could do if it started up.
Going to vets' for 12.15 and can't help thinking the worst. With a bit of luck Bill may be able to come with me but then again....
Well, she came home with me and walked out of the car - with new, stronger tablets but, as it turned out they were to do no good and she died curled up with me at 8.10 Friday morning.
