Hey guys,

I know I haven't posted for a while, but I have been sooooo busy!! Luckily, I am graduating in December...its coming up so soon, and I'm so excited about it.  :-)

Anyway, this is a shameless livejournal attempt to hit you all up for some fundraising.  As you all may or may not know, I am running in the Miami Marathon on January 29, 2006.  Yes, that's 26.2 miles.  Yes, I am a crazy person.  But we all knew that.  :-P

However, I am not just running the marathon, oh no...I am training through the National AIDS Marathon Training Program in order to raise money for the Whitman-Walker clinic.  Whitman-Walker provides treatment, counseling, and other essential services for those suffering from HIV/AIDS in the D.C. area.  They are really a top-notch organization...To read more about what they're all about, go to http://www.wwc.org .

But yes, I am raising money.  And that's where you guys come in!  If you could please please please give me a donation of some sort (no matter what the amount, every little bit helps!), I would be so grateful.  But even more so, the thousands of AIDS/HIV patients and their family members that you will be helping will be grateful as well.  I have committed to raise $2700 by December 15th, so please...donate as soon as possible, if you plan on doing so!

"So, how do I donate, Malinda?  I want to do it NOW!" is hopefully what you are thinking.  :-)  It's easy.  The direct link to my donation page is http://www.aidsmarathon.org/participant.asp?runner=DC-5086&Year=2005&EventCode=MI06 .  From there, hit Donate Now, and then donate to your heart's content!  But, if that doesn't work just go to www.aidsmarathon.org, click on "Sponsor A Runner," type my name (Malinda Ellerman) in the participant look up, and that'll take you to my donation page.  From there, click on the forementioned "Donate Now" button.  :-)

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this.  I hope everything is well with you.  And who knows...maybe I'll actually have a real update soon!

Love,

Malinda
