School was so odd today. The seniors are gone on their class trip. My art class today consisted of me, Lauren, and Liz. Alex came by for a bit, and I sat and did more yearbook work. But that was pretty much it.
After I school I came home, and changed, and took care of some stuff around here. Then it was off to class. I was walking past the gym when Chris came up to me and told me that our class location was moved. Something in one of the transformers blew at the Tech Center, so our class got moved to Nittany Courts. I had no idea where I was going, so he took me over.
Many of us just stood around outside in the beautiful weather and shot the breeze until class. I got to see Charlie, as always. I really am going to miss him when he's gone. So word on the street was that the entire power of the campus was going to be shut off around 4. Alas, that didn't happen and we all trudged to class. About 4:30 a guy came to our room and told us that all power was being shut off in about 10 minutes. Needless to say, my entire class rejoiced. We went over the stuff that's going to be on the exam, took a few notes, and left. Study group on Monday, so I typed up my notes that I have for the essay questions he told us would be on the exam, and printed off several copies for the group, since they so kindly asked me.
I departed PSU in high spirits and headed home, where I just plain old relaxed until Chamber Choir, 7-8:30. Practice for Baccalaureate has begun. Today it completely hit me how much I'm going to miss the seniors. I had none of my senior altos with me at practice today, and it made me sad. But the weather was just so gorgeous that I couldn't stay sad for long.
Chamber Choir ended, and I again returned home. Took a bath and braided my hair just about as tight as it'll go. I want the braids to stay in through the night (and still look good in the morning) that way I don't have to do anything with my hair tomorrow.
Tomorrow consists of a half day at school, library, job hunting, picking up Mike, meeting Rashir, family picnic at PSU, and then God only knows what. I think the weekend's already off to a good start.
Quote of the Moment:
"If I didn't know any better, I'd think he was a 13 year old stoner!" ~ My dad
Jerry: There is that strip club opening up...
Me: Haha... I could be a bouncer!
Jerry: Sure, that's what I meant.
