i guess i just realized that refering to someone as a "girl" denies them something. like status as a real "person".
and it suddenly occured to me that all people are people
and have their own completely valid motivation, their own momentum
and i dont have control over anyone and never have
despite always conceptualizing everyones personality and insecurities like a switchboard
anything anyone has ever done for me, theyve done, not because i pressed the right buttons, but because they choose too
and i nearly freaked out on the subway
all this on the way to work
