Ian's Pictures
So I don't know if I ever posted my little "issue" I had at Sears when I tried to get Ian's 2 year old pictures done. Just in case I haven't...we went in to get Ian's pictures done. He was in a good mood but just wanting to move around a bit like 2 year olds do. Normally the people who have taken the boys pictures have always worked well with that. Whomever the lady was this time wasn't. I kept asking her where she wanted him, how she wanted him etc, and she didn't answer. In fact Bruce and I started grabbing furniture and things and directing the shoot because she wouldn't. I kept asking her "what would you like him to to do/be/etc" She wouldn't answer or offer any suggestions or ANYTHING. She spoke less than 5 phrases the whole time we were in there. She wasn't snapping the pictures quickly enough to capture anything. Halfway through the shoot Ian came up to me and said Finished, I said I was too and we walked out (after I complained to management). They offered me some free sheets to go back but honestly I was furious. I had scheduled this appt forever ago, mom was watching Connor, we'd gotten him all ready etc. All we asked was for her to do her job..which she seemed incapable of.
ANYWAY, so he still needed pictures taken. So today we went to Kiddy Kandids. OMG..why have I not gone there before?!?! Their prices are cheaper than Sears, their associates have a brain in their heads, and their photo paper & prints are better in quality. Um yeah..Sears can kiss my you know what. I'm only ever going back there long enough to get the 5 free sheets they promised me for them being stupid(I think I'll get the boys Halloween pictures done there..because those I won't need very many of and I'm never buying a single sheet from Sears again!!!)
Anyway, Ian was being VERY unmanageable today..and I was nervous..but the people there were great! They worked with him, they took time with him. Ah :) Oh and we did the beach background in honor of Hawaii (which is coming up a week from Wednesday!!!!) Anyway..pictures below the cut.
