Shaping up...

So Saturday is going to be busy. Mom is coming in, doing wedding stuff with Ross & Nora, going on a date, etc. Then Sunday is Ian's birthday party. We're just doing a family celebration this year because 1. he overwhelms SOOO easily 2. he hasn't made any real friends yet, well he has a couple of crushes (including detailoring ) but no real friend friends and 3. he doesn't really care. So last night I ordered his birthday cake (I couldn't figure out how to make the cake I wanted, and then I found Harmon's had it, then when I saw it I realized I COULD make what they had but then it was so inexpensive I thought why bother?) So he's getting a construction cake that has a dump truck on it and the back of the dump truck is going to be filled with cream cheese wontons because they are his favorite thing in the world. Actually what's sad is his favorite restaurant in the world was this little Asian place I loved that has since closed down. It makes me sad. But since we're having the party on a Sunday and because the place is closed down, I have a wok and a recipe book and I'm going to attempt to recreate a couple of his favorite dishes. We'll see how it goes. I do really well at Indian food, we'll see how I do here.

Bruce is already loving the Ipod Touch he won last night. As soon as we got home and got the boys in bed he commenced loading it up with songs, pictures, etc. It's pretty adorable.
