Ian is becoming quite the participant in the Tuesday classes at DG (he'll be old enough for the Thursday ones in February). He pats his lap during the introduction name game, he tries (I help him) make the hand motions during the song, he listens to the story and does what he can to participate in the craft or activity. Today was great because they did bubbles again and he LOVES bubbles. Connor does too and there wasn't much he could do to harm things which meant I only had to keep 1/2 an eye on him and could really focus in on Ian. It was so much fun! Ian really enjoyed it. Such a nice change from yesterday and true to form, now post nap, they are much nicer children. They just need a lot of outside stimulus I've learned I just have to be good about sticking to it.
I learned today that Veggie Tales live is coming to the UT state fair. Connor would love that so much and we were planning on taking them to the fair anyway so I think that will definitely be the day/evening we go!
Also the package we were waiting for got here...it was our WII! We finally found one instock, at a decent price, and at a time we could ya know afford it? So yay! It was my birthday present and I'm hoping for a Wii fit for Christmas. In the meantime I'm enjoying the Wii sports and we also picked up Mario Olympics. I only played for like 45 min yesterday but boy it really does get you moving doesn't it? In fact I had to take a break from this because Connor handed me the remote and said "play please?" so he and I played tennis. It was fun.
Ian is obsessed with cycles of any kind. He loves saying "cycle cycle cycle" whether it be bicycle, motorcycle, whatever :) He's also very cuddly. He has definitely hit the defiant terrible two's though. *Sigh* I swear there is an internal alarm clock that hits the DAY they hit 18 months. The good news? So far he has NOTHING on his older brother *knock on wood* so I SHOULD be able to survive these. Connor is getting to be so much better about following directions and becoming rather helpful. Anyway, hope everyone is having a good day and pictures below the cut!

Such a big boy...he's been going to class since he was 2 weeks old (in my sling) but now he is a member of the class!
