We set off on the cruise
Highlights: being transported from our hotel to the ship via a humdinger of a Hummer limousine, thanks to B2; laughing with S, B2, SIL and GL through the checking in process; viewing the start of the cruise from the fitness center (not crowded this first afternoon); having my very own room all to myself; touring the spa, hearing the guide call out the next room as being the Queen’s room and being unable to resist saying “but my mother’s not here”; laughing with S, B2, SIL and GL through dinner; eating a lot of meat in the Churrascaria; closing down the disco (Zumba’s good practice for discoing, for sure); and trying to figure out how my clothes are going to last through 15 days without laundry.
Last night at dinner I spilled something greasy on my top, but luckily it came out with shampoo.
