Real-life brothers Matt and Jeff Hardy grew up in Cameron, North Carolina with just one goal: make it big in the wrestling business. As early as 1993, the two practiced moves on a trampoline in their backyard, and founded an indy promotion called OMEGA in 1997. Still in their teens, the brothers worked as jobbers in WWE matches before being hired by the company in 1998. The fans quickly began to warm to the daredevil siblings, and they defeated the A.P.A. to take home the gold in June of 1999. Later that year, the rivalry between the Hardyz and the team of Edge and Christian would begin - continuing for over two years, the epic battles between these four men would catapult them to stardom. In the first Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at SummerSlam 2000, the Hardyz put their bodies on the line in their quest for the gold, and their unbelievable moves quickly cemented them as fan favorites. The following years held many ups and downs, but the brothers are still together thrilling the crowds to this day.
