http://www.jrsbarbq.com/blog/jr-s-cyber-sunday-thoughts-weekend-updateThe WWE Title bout delivered and Jeff Hardy getting the popular vote shouldn’t have surprised anyone. HHH and Jeff have excellent chemistry and I really enjoyed their wrestling match. Nice ebb and flow, counters, and near falls. Both men, in my view, were elevated after the contest. Some will lament Hardy not winning the title but I am one that thinks the WWE title is still in the cards for the popular young man from North Carolina.
Matt Hardy vs Evan Bourne was memorable to me. Both men worked their backside’s off and Bourne definitely upped his stock, which is something I can’t say about my own stock portfolio.
http://fans.wwe.com/jimross/blog/2008/10/30/smackdown_this_oct_30_2008 Triple H and Jeff Hardy had yet another strong match at Cyber Sunday. I read on the ‘net, not Dr. Joe E. Styles’ vaunted WWE.com, where some self-proclaimed “experts” thought that this particular match wasn’t as good as their No Mercy bout which is arguable I suppose as everyone has a right to their opinion, but I really liked the WWE Title bout at Cyber Sunday. Younger wrestling fans get bored so easily these days with their short attention spans and need for instant gratification and seeing two guys wrestling multiple times over a few pay-per-views must mentally challenge them.
Friday night the trios of Matt and Jeff Hardy along with Rey Mysterio who meet Kane, Mark Henry, and MVP have one Helluva wrestling match (we can say wrestling, right?) This match alone is worth watching the show notwithstanding Undertaker’s Casket Match and seeing little Jimmy Ross in a sailor suit. The Hardy brothers and San Diego’s own Rey Mysterio are an amazing combination.
