*Stretches*
Aaaaah, much better. I knew I'd be back to normal after a day.
So, let's see, ah, I beat the Main Story of Megaman StarForce 2 yesterday. However, there's still plenty to do. Like all Megaman BattleNetwork/Star Force games, you have to collect every card in the game. All standard, mega, and giga class cards. To do that, you've got to retrace all your steps in the game, including hunting down the ghosts of the bosses you beat, which come back even stronger.
Also, each of these games has another common trait, a Secret Area. Once the main story is done, you unlock a never-before accessed area. This time, it's an alternate dimension where mankind was destroyed. However, it's possible to save this dimension if you defeat its leader, Apollo Flame. But, in order to get to him, you have to do most of the aforementioned stuff, including wiping out even tougher versions of the bosses.
As for the game itself, I thought it was really good. Playing as an elemental warrior of lightning was cool, and I'll probably start a new file playing as a Ninja next. The bosses were pretty good too.
DarkPhantom- Kinda like a Phantom of the Opera like enemy. Tries to attack with claws, cape, and sword.
Yeti Blizzard- Wants to crush you with fists and avalanches of snow
Plesio Surf- Looks like the Loch Ness Monster. Tries to eat you while using boulders to block weapons
Terra Condor- A condor that uses missiles and lasers. Takes a lot of firepower to blow it out of the sky
Hollow- Pretty cool tricks he's got. He'll summon minions to fight you while he charges up his lightning attacks. Gotta interrupt him early or the electricity will form a barrier.
Rogue- Now this multiple encounter boss is really freakin' sweet! He'll first try to close combat attack you, but then upgrades to sending energy blasts at you. Then, he'll gain an aura that you'll need to blast away to damage him. Finally, weaken him enough, and he'll bring out a sword of incredible power. What's even better is, this game is his first appearance and isn't the end of him. The person who becomes Rogue, Solo, survives and will most likely be back in game three, as a rival to your character.
Kung Foo Kid- A goat that knows Kung Foo, whoa. He moves quick, but counter him, and he's wide open. He's not really an enemy, just a friendly sparring opponent.
Taurus Fire- A bull of flames; was in the first game
Queen Ophiuca- A serpent queen; was in the first game
Harp Note- Pop star that attacks with guitar and music; not really an enemy, but you do have to fight her once to keep up a charade in front of the real enemy. From the first game.
Cancer Bubble- Fiesty little crab that still packs a grudge. Sparring opponent; from first game
Gemini Spark- A dynamic duo of lightning and combo attacks. This time, you have to pick off both, not just one specific brother.
Le Mu- The final Main story boss, and a real bastard. You can't damage it until you blow off it's 300HP shield, while it will attack you while you're doing that. Yep, dodge drills, lasers, minions, and traps while attacking throughout the entire fight. I won with 1HP left.
General Auriga-TBA (Haven't fought yet)
Apollo Flame-TBA (Haven't fought yet)
Alrighty then. Nothing else to report, that I can think of anyway, so I'm out. If I'm not back tomorrow, Happy 4th of July to all!
Later!
