Ultrasound, Sunday, etc...

On Friday, I went to see my primary care doctor to talk to her about what the ENT had suggested (trying me on a round of Prednizone to see if that would help my polyps any, at least for the time being and duration of the pregnancy). She said that I could go ahead and do the meds, and that there was minimal risk being that I'm so far along in the pregnancy. So now I'll run this by Peggy (our midwife) when I see her tomorrow and see what she thinks...if she says that there's not a problem then I'll go back to the ENT and get the meds, but is she thinks that I should wait until the baby is born, then that's what I'll do. So we'll just have to wait and see.

On Saturday, Jeff and I had a really nice day! We dropped the kids offf at a friend's house, and went over to Bellview for our 3D/4D ultrasound of Danielle. We got some really nice pictures...and boy was she active! We weren't sure at first how well of a view we would get due to how much she kept moving around and because of her positioning, but we were able to get some cute shots! She's completely head down now, and we saw that it's her head that keeps pressing on my bladder...so that's the reason why i literally have to go pee every 30 minutes! The others didn't do that to me at all...quite a change, lol. I think that she's going to be quite the sucker because through the whole ultrasound, she kept putting her hands, elbow and foot into her mouth, lol. Silly girl! And yes, we did CONFIRM (for all of you who kept saying that my 20 week 2D ultrasound could be wrong) that she is a girl!!! MUCH easier to see with 3D. I'll be posting pics from the ultrasound here in a little bit. I had planned on doing it yesterday but we got busy with other things and then Jeff's computer wouldn't read the image CD that we got, so I had to go over to my neighbor's house and email them to myself...how annoying huh? So I was pretty beat by the time I got that done.

But anyways, after the ultrasound, we headed over to Tukwilla and had an early dinner at Claim Jumper. We had both heard really good things about the food and service there, but had never been there, so we decided to try it out. Wow...everyone was right! It was SO good! I had a tri tip steak with roasted vegetables, cheesy potato cakes and a biscuit with butter and honey! I couldn't believe how much food we got! Sadly though, we had no room left for desert...we're planning on going back just for desert though, lol. From there, we drove home and picked up the kids. They had a really fun day! For the rest of the evening all they could talk about was how much fun they had and asking us when we can play with them again. It was cute. I told my friend that we'll gladly return the favor of watching her 4 kids, so hopefully she'll take us up on that so that Jeff and I don't have to feel so bad about leaving our kids with her all day. :-)

Yesterday was a nice day as well. Spent the morning just lounging around and beign lazy. After lunch, Jeff took his truck to get is washed and looking nice while I took the kids outside and around the block on their bikes and such. After that, we ran up to the preschool and exchanged the old emergency supply kit with the brand new on e that I just put together. Feels so good to finally have all of that taken care of now! Then it was on to the super wal-mart for some grocery shopping to stock the new freezer that we just got from Jeff's buddy at work. We traded my old IPod Nano for the freezer, as I don't use my nano anymore because I've got my ipod touch. It was a good trade...we've got a LOT more room for food now!!!

Well, I'd better get going. It's getting close to 6:am here and so I should probably hop back into bed for an hour or so and try to get a little more sleep before the kids start waking up...The only reason why I'm up this early is because Jeff had to leave for work at 3:00am today, UGH...I'm SO glad that it's him that has to do that instead of me!!!
