Update
Things are looking up since my last update. I've been able to work things out so that Natalie can finish up preschool this year, thanks to the wonderful parents in her class who are willing to hel p me out! You guys are awesome!
Katie has finished perfecting her trick (climbing up Kyle's bunk bed ladder) by learning how to climb down all on her own as well! No help for her...she'll scream at you if you even offer! LOL. She's also mastered how to actually walk down the staircase frontways while holding onto the handrail! Even though I have physically showed herhow to crawl down backwards, she still prefers to go down like a big kid...totally refuses to do so any other way. That's my little monkey!
Went to Urgent Care last night when Jeff got home...For 3 weeks now, I've had a very stuffy nose and ongoing sinus headache. Pretty common for me, so I didn't think anything of it. Well, yesterday, when I woke up, I had extremely bad right sided sinus pain and right ear pain. I also noticed that I tasted blood in the mucus that dripped down from the back of my throat, and that there was gunk coming out of my right ear and eye. And because my ear was bothering me, I felt like my equalibrium was off all day. So I went in, and sure enough I've got a sinus infection and a lot of fluid behind my ear drum in both ears, but my right ear was considerably worse.
So I'm on antibiotics AGAIN for another 5 days! This is the 3rd time in the past 10 months that I've had a sinus infection, and going on close to two straight years that I've had some sort of degree of a stuffy nose. I'm at the point to where I wonder whether or not I should seek out going to an ENT. I've tried the over the counter dosp sprays and they do nothing. I've tried perscription nosal spray and those give me nose bleeds. Oral decongestants make me feel loopy. And the antibiotics seem to only work temperarily. So I made myself an appointment with my doctor to talk to her about the issue and hopefully we can get things figured out.
It's been Valentine's Day week for Kyle and Natalie. Natalie had her party yesterday and Kyle had his today. They've been halppy as larks going through all of their valentines and candy that they have received. And they both have been so nice at sharing with Mom :-)
Don't really have much else to report on. I'm still working away trying to sell the last few last few tickets that I have for Natalie's auction. Kyle just started a fundraiser too...selling cookie dough. Yummy! Unfortunately though for family and friends who live out of town, they can't order because the cookie dough is frozen and can't be shipped...bummer, huh?
