It's been a pretty busy an dfun week for the kids and I! Last Monday (a week ago yesterday) was bubble day for Natalie at preschool. Then Wednesday was Pirate Day and on Thursday she graduated from Poulsbo Coop Preschool! That was such a special day for her! They had a littlee ceremony and the kids all got deplomas and wore hats...it was really cute. We left with a collage of our children and a dvd that was made of pics throughout the year. It was an emotional good-bye too all fo our friends, but not a forever good-bye as we'll hopefully get together for play dates throughout the summer :-)
I went in for my allergy testing last Friday. Out of 25 things that I was tested for (enviromnental stuff), it turns out that I'm allergic to 14 of them! So to make a long list short, I'm allergic to various types of trees, grass, weeds, mold, and dust! The allergy nurse who tested me said that on a scale of 1 to 7, with a 1 being not allergic and 7 being off the charts allergic, I scored a 5, 6 or 7 on everything that showed up positive! She said that that's why no allergy meds ever worked, because II'm just so allergic to everything around me in my environment. So she and the ENT recommended that I start allergy shots once a week starting this coming Thursday. My ENT said that he's 95 percent sure that with these allergy shots, my polyps will go away since we'll be treating my symptoms and the problem all toegther. But to come back to see him in 3 to 4 months and we'll see if they're gone. If they are, great! If not, then we'll have to look into surgical removal. So I'm really hoping that these allergy shots do the trick!!
Kyle's last day of school is tomorrow. His class is having a special party with the kids and parents. I'm looking forward to it, and so is Kyle. It's going to be fun!
This past weekend,.. was busy. On Saturday we went to our preschool potluck at the park. Perfect weather!! After that, we took on a big project and rearranged the kids bedrooms and sleeping arrangements so that we could have the crib ready for Danielle. The sooner I can get her into the crib, even if it's just for nap time, the better! We moved Kaitlyn from the crib into the lower bunk that Natalie was sleeping in, and we set up the loft bed in the room with the crib for Natalie to sleep in. We had to totally rearrange that room to make better use of the space, but it looks MUCH better in there now! We got a side rail for the lower bunk so tha tKatie doesn't fall out, and she's been doing awesome sleeping in it! There's been no issues or anything! She loves it...it makes her feel like such a big girl. You can tell that she's so proud of herself! We also found the booster chair for the table for Katie so that she can get up and down from the table by herself. No more high chair either! That's such a big help for me too because Danielle always wants to eat when the kids are eating, and I don't have to get up in the middle of feeding her to help Katie in and out of her chair. She's growing up so fast!
Dani's getting so big! She's already starting to outgrow some of her 0-3 month clothing! She's got really good control of her head and neck now, and still loves to scoot and roll over and smile! She's such a happy baby! Speaking of Danielle...I hear her waking up...perfect timing. Catch you all later.
