Danielle is becoming such a person of her these days! Her little personality is really starting to show through, and it's totally amazing! She's starting to form a predictable schedule that goes something like this...
wakes up at 7:30am
eats
awake till 9:30am
eats
naps until noonish
eats
awake until 1:30pm
eats
naps until 4:30 or 5:pm
eats
awake until 7:30 or 8 pm
eats
goes to bed
sleeps until 1:30am-ish
eats
sleeps again till 4:30 or 5am
eats
sleeps until 7:30am
Of course, this schedule doesn't include all of the diaper changes, burpings, clothing changes, tumy time, play time, snugggle time, and everything else that goes along with the life of having a baby. :-) Gosh, I love it so much!!!
Danielle is also starting to work on her first developmental milestones already! On Friday, I noticed that she has started moving a little bit while on her tummy. She only does it when she gets mad, but it's still moving! On Friday when I was watching her, she was starting to get frustrated, but wasn't crying yet, and she just worked herself right out of her play yard! And she did it again today too! And yesterday, I could have sworn that I saw her smile at me!! :-) Kyle and Natalie said that they saw it too, so I guess that I wasn't seeing things! I can't wait until those little smiles really start to appear! It's so exciting and wonderful to watch my children accomplish things that are so little,, but that mean so much to them and you and me!
Kyle has another very loose tooth. This one is on the top, right above the one on the bottom that he lost. Jeff's out of town in Ohio this week, and Kyle's going to work really hard to try and make it come out before Jeff gets home on Saturday so that he can surprise Jeff with another lost tooth when he gets home. Pretty cute.
We went to the aquarium yesterday in Seatle. We hadn't been in years...yes, literally years! We all had a lot of fun! We've decided that we're going to start doing a family fun day once a month. We know a few families (large like ours) who have followed that idea, and it seems to work well for them, and so we figured that we'd give it a shot. It would give us something to plan for and to look forward to each month. And it would eliminate the random spur of the moment outing that our wallets pay for later at the end of our pay period. We're excited to try out this new plan. :-)
I think that my hormones are starting to level off...or at least ease up a bit. I think that I'm starting to feel better about things...at least I'm not bursting into complete tears at the very thought of thinking about Danielle's birth, or remembering what it feels like to feel life inside of me. So I take that as an improvement. I'm still quite emotional about it, but it is getting better, and I know that with time it will go away.
This coming week should go pretty quickly for me. My sitter is back from vacation, so she'll be back and I'll be able to bring Natalie to preschool and get out of the house again. I'm going back to the ENT on Thursday to start treating my sinus issues that still haven't gone away. Now that I'm not pregnant anymore, we can actually do something with a treatment plan and/or procedures if necessary. I'll update on that after I go and see the doc this week.
Well, I'd better get going. I'm pretty tired and am ready for bed. Good night everyone
