the rain came down....

I decided that yesterday, God just wanted to test me to see how much patience I had.  So much stuff seemed to go wrong!

1.  Meat scale said "Fatal error" and turned off (never good words to see).  I called Hobart for servicing.  After about 30 minutes of turning it off and on, it finally came back to life.

2.  Jessica had called Supervalu around 9:30AM to ask about our perishable truck that had not yet arrived.  When they called back, they spoke with me.  Someone in Minnesota forgot to route our grocery truck, so she could either have it sent that afternoon (with an arrival time of about 6PM) or the next day.  I opted for the latter.

3.  Perishable truck was late.  What was supposed to show up about 9:30AM, showed up about 10:35AM.  I wrote down the numbers in the hopes of unloading.

4.  While I was attempting to help with the truck, I was called up front, because of the door.  The breaker had switched on it's compressor and it was not working.  Unfortunately, I followed it back to the same breaker for the registers.  At the moment, I just left it open and Wendell fixed it later.

5.  In the midsts of all this, the heat wasn't on.  I originally just thought that we needed the pilot lights started... wrong!  I found out when the county workers came that, surprise, we are out of propane.  So, my project of the morning is to call Holly at 8AM, so she will call the propane company.

6.  Hobart finally came around 12PM to work on the scale.  Since it was back on when he got there, he just updated our disk for the PLU's.  Right after he went to his van, though, it once again showed "fatal error".  Thankfully, he was still in the parking lot, so he came back in.  He "cold started" the scale, then wiped the memory and reloaded the information from the disk.  Hopefully, that will fix it so we don't have to get a new memory board.

So, that was my day in list form.  I thankfully made it through... now to unload the grocery truck today.  :)
