more forms....

Last week, I had sent out my visa application.  I found out that it was received when I found a message from David, needing me to call him back about the application.  Well, I talked to David from the South Africa Consulate in Washington, DC this morning about it and found out that I need to send in two more forms that need to be signed by my doctor along with police clearance (background check).  Thankfully, I don't think it will be too hard to have that done.  I will call the doctor's office tomorrow or Monday about the forms (it looks like I'll have to see a radiologist for one, since it's to make sure I don't have pulmonary tuberculosis).  And, I am going to leave for Bedford in the next few minutes so that I can stop by the municipal building about the background check (hopefully, this won't be difficult to obtain).
