So I was being a lazyass this morning and watching The Best of VH1 Live or something like that. And they had Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 do a really slow piano version of "3 AM". And ever since this morning, I've been totally infatuated with that song and it also prompted me to write another song for my CD which is always good. But yeah, so it's really, really beautiful and I look at that song completely different now. It's actually about Rob's mom having cancer...learn something new everyday.
I need to do so many things, but being the worst procrastonator (sp?) I'm not doing it till later. In other news...I'm singing a song or two at a small gig tomorrow night. I'm kind of a featured person if you wanna call it that. I wouldn't normally mind singing longer, but I'm fighting a virus of somesorts and my voice sounds like crap right now...so I don't wanna over do it.
