omg but I love this show, I wasn't expecting anything special because what can top that opening, seriously, but.. it's so.. nggh.. I find I'm loving this for the same reasons I loved Samurai 7 and Mujin Wakusei Survival, it's not over the top but heartwarming, it's the small touches and character interaction that I love, and the story doesn't even need to be real special. All the designs are so cute and subtle. Plus it's occasionally unintentionally hilarious, the maincharacter is just so horrible.
Hnghg.. Maya was.. so cute in that outfit.. her arms were so thin though omg Nick needs to buy her more burgers

I never finished this because.. this is the actual size I painted in? It got a bit tedious after a while. I tried colouring the sketch I did like.. two years ago to kyvie in a free sketch request meme. higher res will help next time muura /durp
